Day 79

The boys are working on new skills!  Ezra has a juggling act, Justin a yo-yo, and Seth has been practicing various magic tricks for weeks!

With graduation coming up, I finally bullied Seth into a haircut.  He wants to keep the top long so we compromised.

Day 78

The morning started with Justin and Ezra's restaurant!  Yesterday, they watched some cooking show with me and were inspired.  We dug in the basement and found our old play food.  Love the creativity!

We had Ari and Andrea over for a distant playdate.  Water guns and sunbathing.  Seth and Justin played with the sprinkler in the backyard.  I hope the magic of water sustains us through the summer.  They also rediscovered Justin's walkie=talkies.  fun!

We took a break in the afternoon to watch the rocket launch.  

Tonight's movie - Now You See Me.  Boys loved it!  

Day 77

We did it!  We went to the beach!  No school or work for me today because of Shavuot.  Even though it was a bit chilly, I thought it was the safest day to attempt the beach.  We had to find one that allowed non-residents to park and we had to make sure we didn't have to use the bathroom, because the facilities are closed.  We did the trip in 4 hours door to door and it was a big success!  We went to Half Moon Beach in Glouchester.  It was empty - so we only wore masks walking from our car.  It was soul filling to put our toes in the sand and listen to the waves.  

The boys played in the cold water.  It was amazing to hear them laughing together.

Back at home Missy - was happy to see us!

We also started reading JK Rowlings new online book - the Ickabog.  I mirrored it on the tv so we can all read a long together.  It is nice to have something to read to all three boys at once.  There is also an illustration component.  Here is Justin's drawing of King Fred the Fearless!

Seth ended the night with a few hours playing online games with his friends.  Great day!

Day 76

Still snuggling and loving our Missy - even if she still looks like an imposter!  She is starting to get back to her old self.  

We had lunch on the deck today and I suggested we go back to an old favorite.... a story in the round!  Each person says only one word of a story, it goes around and around.  A very silly result with a lot of laughs along the way.
