Happy 10th Birthday Ezra

 Happy 10th birthday Ezi!!!  You are full of energy, passion and love for your family and friends, curious and full of life!  While it was so hard in the spring to not be with your friends at school - you found so much happiness with your brothers.  During the summer you filled our lake days with fun and laughter!  While you didn't get to go to overnight camp for the first time this summer, you adjusted well and we were able to make so many great summer memories with friends and family.  You went back to school in the fall wearing a mask and following all the new rules with ease.  Your excitement and interest in the world around you is amazing!  Happy Birthday!!!

Happy 12th Birthday Justin!

 What a year you have had!  Early in the pandemic, you were happy to stay in your pajamas and spend time with your family.  You then broke your arm on the first bike ride of the spring, but there was almost no complaining!  You figured out how to keep making your art even with the cast on.  Watching you enjoy the lake house was one of the best parts of our summer!  You are still so creative and interested in learning new things.  All of your teachers describe you as beyond sweet.  You are always ready to help a friend and participate in class.  You still love art - trying out new forms (25 lbs of clay living on your bedroom floor!).  We trust your artistic vision and even let you draw a mural on your bedroom wall.  Happy happy birthday!  As you start practicing for your bar mitzvah - we can't wait to see what the next year brings!

Jimmy Falcon!

 

Justin loved taking a virtual art class with his regular art teacher, Joy.  He sculpted this amazing falcon out of newspaper, glue and tinfoil.  

His name is Jimmy Falcon!  Watching the process made me even more impressed...  

Week #3 at the Lake - Milgram Edition!

We were so excited to welcome Ari, Gabe, Andrea and Oren into our NH bubble!!!  The joy of Ezra and Ari hugging each other was felt by all.  It might have taken Oren until Friday night to give me a hug - but it was worth it!  We LOVED having them with us in NH.  It made the world feel normal and totally fun!!!!
