New Years Eve - goodbye 2011

We celebrated the new year with our traditional night at home.  We made cheese pizza for dinner and cookie pizza for dessert!  We let the boys stay up late and we watched a movie together.  We watched fireworks on tv and counted down together.  It was great fun!  As Jerald says, there isn't too many years that the boys will want to just hang out with us on NYE - so we are enjoying it while we can!  A happy and a healthy new year to all our family and friends!!!

Visit with Great-Gram

On our way back to Boston we stopped at Great-Grams for a wonderful visit!  We had lunch in her apartment - played for a while and then headed to the amazing library in her town.  We had so much fun at the library playing with trains, puppets and even reading some books.  Most of all, we had a wonderful time spending the afternoon with Great-Gram.  Unfortunately, I broke our latest camera and we have no pictures from our visit :-(  I will be getting a new one very soon!  Thanks for an amazing visit!!!

Out in NYC

Grandma and Pa run the best hotel in NYC.  Not only is it free, beautiful, comfortable, comes with free toiletries when you run out (I always get a new toothbrush), breakfast the next morning but it also comes with free childcare!!!  Yes, my brave parents took all three boys to their house on long island for the night and the next day so Jerald and I could have a night out.  THANK YOU!!!!
As you can see from the pictures (thanks Shir!) we went out to dinner with some friends and Joshy and Shir came too!  It was so much fun hanging out, laughing and sleeping in!  Thanks Brian for always mobilizing the troops and organizing when we come in.  You are the best!  And of course huge thank you to my parents for the accommodations and the babysitting!

The Museum of Natural History

Jerald has been wanting to take the boys to the Natural History Museum in NYC for a long time.  Today we finally went!  After driving from Boston we had a quick lunch at Grandma and Pa's apartment and then we took the bus across the park to the museum.
We had a lot of fun looking at all the dinosaurs and all the other exhibits.  Thanks Grandma and Pa for a fun, educational and tiring trip!

Hannukah at Nana's

We had a yummy and fun second night of Hannukah at Nana's house with some aunts, uncles and cousins.  Nana cooked latkes, applesauce, butter cookies and my favorite ruggelah (thanks Nana!!!). It was wonderful to celebrate with such a big group of family!!!
