Spring baseball!

Not Justin's best hit (apparently his best hit was on tuesday when neither Jerald or I were there!  That night his hit went all the way to the parking lot!!!!) just shows his awesome form.  And shows how we have been spending much of our evenings this spring.

Ezra's 1st grade author's tea

We are so proud of you Ezra!  While you were reading your journal to us - you laughed at your very first entry from September.  What a long way you have come!  We loved sitting and having you share your writing with us.  And we of course loved the 1st grade song.  2nd grade here you come!

In the hole

Not sure if anyone checks this regularly anymore but I have been in a blog hole that I have not been able to dig myself out of.  I am now almost a year behind on the blog and very sad about it.  I love pictures and my boys love looking at the blog and even more so the books that I have printed out from the blog.  I need to make a change so here it is....  I am going to do a post about today.  We had Ezra's 1st grade author's tea (he did a GREAT!) job.  and I am going to be really good about posting going forward.  My goal is still to fill in the missing year (it was a great one).  But it feels too daunting right now and this way I won't get farther behind.

Jagged little pill

Homework playdate!

Justin and his friend David - getting homework done before a big baseball game.  In the game (which Jerald and I had to leave and we missed it!) . Justin pitched a 1 run inning and hit a huge ball that rolled to the parking lot.  It was called a ground rule double - Justin was bummed about that - but great hit!!!!

Georges Island and North End

What a great day off!  It was a cold day - but we bundled up and had a blast.  We took the 50 min ferry to George's Island.  We spent most of the boat ride eating lunch and playing our new fave game "Pres!"

On the island - we toured the fort

and spent a lot of time down by the water, skipping rocks and searching for sea glass.

A quick visit to the aquarium, dinner and desert in the north end.  Yum!
