6 Months Old!!!

Happy 6 Month Birthday to Justin! I am truly shocked at how fast these six months have gone by. It seems like yesterday we were in the hospital welcoming him into our family. But it is hard to remember before we were a family of four. Justin has fit into the family so wonderfully. He brings such joy to all of us every day. Even when he does something gross (like his poop explosion this morning) he flashes his big smile that lights up his whole face and I can't help but smile too.

During the last month Justin played at the park for the first time, started eating real food and started eating in the high chair, started playing in the exersaucer, rolled over from his back to his front, and started sleeping in his own room!

18 Months Old!

Seth had his 18 month old check-up with his doctor today. He is doing great with everything!
And he now weighs.... 27 lbs 2 oz.

Wow!

12 Months Old!!!

The day has finally come... Seth is one year old! And with this momentous occasion we reach the end of our "orange sign" pictures (Seth pretty much destroyed it this morning). Right now we will focus on this past month. This past month Seth discovered the joys of matzah and family seders. Seth started doing a "real" crawl and has almost completely given up his "army" crawl. This has led to Seth being able to pull himself up to standing on everything from the couch, the dishwasher and even a wall or door! Seth also started dancing a lot this month - whenever a song comes on the radio or a toy plays music Seth starts to dance. We have to wait until next week to see how much Seth weighs now. All we can tell you is that it is a lot!

11 Months Old!

This past month has gone very fast! As Seth has gotten faster and more efficient with his crawling we have spent the month babyproofing the apartment. Seth is always happy to point out all the places we missed.

Seth also is very into music. Whenever he hears a favorite song he starts to shake it! His favorite non-dance move though is to explore things with his pointer - toys, light switches, cheerios, his other pointer and our nostrils.

10 months old!!!

Big stuff happened this past month. The biggest was that Seth started crawling! He is so happy that when he wants something he can just go get it. Seth started refusing any foods that came on a spoon and insisted on feeding himself. And speaking of food, Seth ate his first cookie. Seth also played in his first Snow due to our crazy winter.

These pictures were too funny not to include. We will call these "Seth destroying the sign!"

9 Months!!!

Seth had another very busy month. He spent a lot of time log rolling around the apartment and lunging for everything. Seth started waving and saying "Mom" and "Dad" and lots of other fun noises. Seth started eating out with Mom and Dad in restaurants by sitting in his own highchair. He also got three more teeth to eat so many new foods with.

8 Months Old!

Seth is 8 months old today. The last month has been very exciting. Seth became entranced by his hands, sometimes just staring at them and laughing. He also began clapping, which has been so much fun. When his Mommy or Daddy walks into a room - we often get a round of applause! Seth also tried Cheerios and had his first bagel (pictures to come).

7 Months Old

In the past month Seth has improved his sitting immensely. He rarely falls over! He also has taken a real interest in playing with his toys. He spends a lot of the day smiling and laughing at the silly things his parents do.

6 Months Old!

We can't believe how fast these past six months have gone. We have all come a long way. In the past month Seth has begun rolling over from his back to his front, sitting up on his own and sleeping on his tummy. Seth has also starting eating "real" food, including: rice cereal, peas, carrots, bananas and sweet potato. He has loved all the new food but still hates water.

Happy 5 Months!!!

These past 5 months have gone so fast! In the past month, Seth has learned to sleep through the night (Hallelujah!!!), play with his feet, suck on his fingers, give great big belly laughs and actually plays with his toys.

4 Months Old

Another month has flown by! In the past month Seth has rolled over from his front to his back, spent a lot of time sucking on his pointer finger, and finally has started "playing" with is toys (which mostly means sticking them in his mouth ~ but sometimes means swatting them).

3 Months Old!

Seth has changed a lot in his first three months of life. He now smiles a lot, he laughs, is awake a good portion of the day, is starting to play with some toys, puts his hands in his mouth and is sleeping much better at night. And has gotten cuter every day!

2 Months Old!

Happy 2 month birthday Seth. And... GO SOX!!!
