L'Shana Tova!

We wish you all out there in blog land - a healthy and a super sweet new year!
We had a wonderful and delicious first night of Rosh Hashanah at Nana's house with Uncle Jono, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara and cousin Zev.  For the second night, we hosted.  This was our very first time at hosting one of these big holiday meals.  Boy was it a lot of work!!!  Thanks to the most important women in my life - my mom, my grandma and my mother-in-law for taking my constant questions throughout the process.  Thank you for your patience!  In the end I think everything came out great and a good time was had by all.

10 Months Old!

Believe it or not, Ezra is 10 months old!  He thinks he is a lot older.  He only has interest in playing with his brother's toys, no baby toys for him.  He only does the "regular" crawl now.  He still loves to pull up to standing and now has been practicing balancing holding on to nothing.  He nods yes and no, waves, claps, blows kisses and is able to sign milk, all done and more!  His eating has gotten better.  He loves to eat whatever we are.  Now that we are on a more predictable schedule with the big boys in school he loves to take two good naps in his crib (yea for me!!!).  Unfortunately, I know this two nap period is short lived.  He is a really happy guy who always has a smile for anyone who crosses our path.  He is becoming more interested in books but loves to chase his brothers around and get into anything I don't want him too.

Catesby's Wedding

We were all so happy to celebrate with my cousin Catesby and her new husband Mathieu!!!
Their wedding was just beautiful and we all had such a great time!

We got to ride on trolleys to the ceremony and to the party...

The boys all took naps at strange times - here is Justin napping during the ceremony!

The reception had the most amazing view!

We all had fun dancing and being silly...

Ezra sleeping during pictures...

And finally Seth fell asleep at the wedding on a couch, Uncle Joshy carried him to the trolley
where he slept on my lap, I carried him off the trolley and into the stroller, where Pa strolled
him to our room...  what an exciting adventure!

In Maine

We spent the weekend in Maine to celebrate my cousin, Catesby's wedding.  The wedding will have its own post.  Here are pictures of all the fun we had at the rehearsal bbq, hanging around with Grandma, Pa, Uncle Joshy and Aunt Shir, swimming and laughing.

The Lion King - 3D!!!

I really have felt Seth's absence during the week now that he is in school so long.  I am happy to spend any extra time with him!  Jerald was nice enough to hold down the fort with the younger two as Seth and I saw The Lion King, which has been re-released for a two week run in 3D.  It was so much fun seeing it with him.  Seth put simply ~ enjoys life!

Apple Picking

Get ready for tons of pictures from apple picking!  Apple picking is my favorite family activity.  We picked a beautiful day - the apples were delicious!  Justin won the award for most apples eaten in the orchard.  I lost track, but he insisted on having one in each hand to eat.

We brought Nana with us - for her very first time apple picking.  She had fun tasting different varieties.  I stick with my fave - honey crisp!

After the picking, the boys fed the goats, posed with the pumpkins, ate apple cider donuts and played on the playground.

Back at home we were happy but tired!  Let the saucing begin...
