Brunch and Accordions

To finish up our wonderful visit to DC, Suzanne and Frank hosted a yummy brunch! And Suzanne and Seth wore matching outfits.

We then got a tour of Frank's accordion business. It was so cool to see all the hard work Suzanne and Frank have been up to.

Sadly, it was time to say goodbye to the law school crew. We had such an amazing time!!!

Teen tour reunion?

One of my oldest and best friends met up with us at the Zoo as well. Matt and I met when we were 16 and on a teen tour of the west coast. We hit it off immediately and have been great friends since. I am so happy we got to spend time together!

In DC at the Zoo

Our whole law school crew met up at the Zoo! We had so much fun walking around and catching up with everyone.
After the Zoo we went to Nicole's house for a yummy bbq and then back to Suzanne and Frank's for drinks and dessert while Seth slept.

Trip to DC

Seth had so many firsts on our big trip to DC. Seth had his first bus, plane and subway ride. He did great during all of our adventures!

Here is Seth on the metro with our gracious hosts, Frank and Suzanne (whom Seth adores)!

Explorers

Seth has been enjoying class so much. Today, he spent 15 minutes crawling, climbing and running up this structure. He had so much fun! I will try to put some video on of this soon.
He also had fun in the ball pit,

and his first time finger painting!

Shout-Out to Brian!

I just learned some very disturbing news. Our very good friend Brian, has never been mentioned on the blog. I decided this had to be remedied immediately. Not only is Brian one of the most faithful readers of this blog, he has also been one of my closest friends since High School. And as some of you may know, my prom date (see picture).
So now Brian is either laughing very hard and happy that he has now been mentioned on the blog - or very upset that he brought it up in the first place.
And if you want more space on the blog - just come up and visit us!

Schmutz

I apparently use the word schmutz a lot. So much so that Seth has a face for when I say the word or for when he finds garbage on his own.

"Ra Wa!"

Seth's favorite band is Ralph's World (ok - I am not sure if they are a band or just one guy named Ralph). He loves the music and has recently discovered one music video that came with the CD. He sits quietly in front of the computer smiling and watching Ralph. He cannot pronounce "Ralph's World" so instead he says "Ra Wa."

Visiting Jill & Jake

Seth and I had the pleasure of visiting with my college friend Jill and her adorable 8 week old son Jake. Seth was very gentle with him but when we were leaving Jake starting to cry which freaked Seth out and in turn Seth started crying. But we had a great visit - and hope to see more of them!

In class today the kids washed dishes. Seth liked squeezing the sponge and dumping water on the floor and on the teacher.

Block Party!

Today our street was closed to traffic and we had a block party. It was really great getting to see some neighbors we have met before and meeting some new ones. There was music, food, and games.

Seth even ran in his first race. He was the youngest by far, and started off in the wrong direction, so we weren't surprised he finished in last place. But he did finish and got a medal!

Fun Activities

Seth had a blast at Nana's house. He enjoyed many fun activities from blowing bubbles,

watering the plants,
listening to Dad's and Uncle Josh's "Shofar Off,"
blowing the shofar,

and coloring with crayons!

Rosh Hashanah

We had a wonderful time welcoming in the Jewish New year at Seth's Nana's house. She spent so much time making yummy food that we all loved! We had a fantastic time spending quality time with Nana, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, and Uncle Jono.

Here is Seth is his new outfit for Temple. And here is Seth enjoying wine. He also LOVED dipping challah and apples into the honey.
