7 Months Old!!!

Everyone who sees Ezra lately remarks how grown up he is.  All of a sudden he is looking like a little man.  He still has his Mohawk - but lately it is looking more like a comb over!  Ezra had a lot of adventures this month but his two big ones were being able to sit up on his own (only falling over occasionally) and starting to eat real food.  Sitting has enabled Ezra to be more eye to eye with his brothers and to be more engaged with them.  The food thing has been interesting.  Almost everything we put in his mouth is met with a complete look of disgust from Ezra.  Like we just fed him dirt or something.  So far he seems to be ok with avocado and any soup we are eating.  He also has started babbling more and I swear he says "Ma, ma!"

NH Vacation - Day #4

What a wonderful last day of vacation we had!  We were not sure we would want to stay the whole day at Storyland (from 9-5), but we did - and had a blast!  The kids were really amazing, on their best behavior, and loving every minute of it.  We really did it all - swan boats, antique cars, roller coaster, water rides, circus, tea cups, another show, pirate boat, we met characters and had so much fun!

Seth even got to be in this show

I got the most amazing picture of Uncle Josh, Aunt Na, Jerald and Seth on the Bamboo Chute

All that is left to say is a giant, humongous, enormous thank you to Nana!  We had an amazing weekend with you and the rest of the family and these family vacations will be amazing memories for all of us forever.  Thank you for making it happen - we love you sooooo much!!!

NH Vacation - Day #3 & Happy Father's Day!!!

We had a lovely outdoor day today in NH!  We started the day with a very buggy but fun hike to these waterfalls and pools.  I think it was called Diana's Bath.  Anyway, once there Justin wanted a snack but Jerald and Seth were ready to explore.  Jerald amazed us all (and scared Nana) by scrambling up these rocks with Seth.  Seth had so much fun jumping from rock to rock - getting wet - and throwing rocks.  It was such a beautiful spot and a lovely morning.

During nap time, Uncle Jono, Jerald and Seth went pirate mini-golfing and the afternoon was finished off by some more time in the pool.  Tomorrow it is back to Storyland and then time to head home.

Lastly, I wanted to say a VERY happy father's day to all the fathers who have given their love to us.  And of course a very special happy father's day to Jerald.  Everyday he shows the boys and I what an amazing father he is.  You are the best and we love you!!!

NH Vacation - Day #2

Today is Shabbat, since some of the family doesn't drive on shabbat we stuck close to the rental house - but had another great day!  We lazed around the house in the morning and then all headed to the pool.  Seth showed us some of his new confidence and swim skills from swim camp and Justin was happy sharing Ari's floating turtle.  We thought it was too cold for Ezra so he hung out on the side as the grown-ups took turns in the pool.
We had lunch and then most of the kids napped or played games in the house.  Jerald held down the fort as I got to go outlet shopping.  Thanks Jerald!!!

In the afternoon, everyone but Ezra and I (he was napping) headed to a close park.  They had fun - but the bugs were getting very bad.  These little black flies really loved Justin - at last count 15 bites in his hair :-(  But he is ok.

Then, after the kids went to sleep, some of the adults stayed up playing cards and hanging out.  Another fun filled day!!!

NH Vacation - Day #1

After months and months of planning, a whole week of packing, tons of emails coordinating food/travel/and activities ~ we have made it to New Hampshire for our vacation!!!  Nana to celebrate her birthday wanted to take all of her kids and grandkids on a vacation.  So here we are!!!  A big thank you to Nana for the vacation.  We got to the rental house - it is an amazing 10 bedroom three story house - with a game room and a flat screen tv in every room.  Seriously, the guy must have gotten a crazy discount on tvs!  We quickly unloaded and headed straight to storyland.  All the kids warmed up to the fun pretty quickly.  We went through the storybook area and then went to our first show.
It was a show about gardening - and after a little hesitation all the kids seemed to enjoy.
Next were the tractor rides.  What good driving!!!

Somehow, Jerald convinced Justin to go on the roller coaster.  I was worried, since Justin doesn't seem to like rides.  But it went well - no tears.  But Justin only went once and didn't want to do it anymore.  But Seth had a blast and even went on one time by himself!
Jerald and Seth then did the bamboo shoots a couple of times and Seth and I went on the raft ride 3 times.  We were very wet!  Justin went with us the first time, but he wasn't such a fan.  We finished up the day in the ball room.
We headed off to a yummy dinner and then back to the house for shabbat and a lot of playing around and snuggling!  What a successful first day of vacation!
