Last night we went to Christine & Kevin's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. We were so happy to celebrate with them! Thanks Nana for babysitting!

It was so great to have most of our law school crowd in town for the celebration!

Sue-Ann, Frank and Colle Visit

Some of our law school friends, Suzanne, Frank and Nicole stayed with us this weekend. It was great having them see our house and spend time with Seth. Seth fell in love with them very fast and crawled right in bed with Sue-Ann and Frank. He got Nicole to play many games of hide-and-go seek with him.

Seth's First Pillow!

Jerald has been asking if Seth needed a pillow for quite sometime. Recently, I have noticed Seth putting his head on one of his stuffed animals so tonight Seth is sleeping with a pillow for the first time. Jerald made fun of me that I bought Seth a toddler memory foam pillow - but I think it is worth it!

He was so excited when we took it out of the box. He put his head on it immediately and smiled. Then he got up and put it in his crib. When Jerald put him in bed for the first time with it - he was so happy. Sweet Dreams!

Myles visits

Our good friend from law school, Summer her partner Katherine and their adorable son Myles came to boston last night because we have a wedding this weekend. They stopped by our house for a visit and then we hit the zoo. It was so great meeting Myles and spending time with Katherine and Summer. And Seth always loves going to the Zoo!

Busy Day of Pictures

Seth was really cute today - so I ended up with a bunch of cute pictures. After breakfast Seth relaxed on the couch while watching Elmo and snuggling under the blanket I knit him.

Then we made homemade play dough - green colored! What a great activity. It occupied us for almost 45 minutes. And we could have gone on longer but we needed to meet Ronak at the park.
After the park we ate lunch with Ronak and then headed home for a nap.

After nap time we had a snack - went to the gym and then came home and played with sticks in our yard for about a half an hour.

Seth then ate dinner. When Dad came home the play dough came out again for a while. Then Jerald gave Seth a bath and put him to sleep. Whew! What a day...

First Movie

It is official - this afternoon Seth watched his first movie at home, on the couch, with his Mom and Dad. I was pretty shocked that he sat through the whole thing (minus the parts we fast-forwarded through for content reasons). He loved it! Seth cannot stop talking about Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Mr. Ha Ha (Mr. Potato Head). It was really fun watching it with him.

Uncle Joshy and Shir Visit!

Finally, Uncle Joshy and his girlfriend Shir came to visit us in Boston! This was the first time they ever saw our house. It was beyond wonderful having them here. They are both fantastic, warm, funny, smart and loving people. The three of us are lucky to have them in our lives! We had so much fun with them here. Everything became a great big fun game to Seth - here is the "put on Joshy's hat" game.

Seth loves Uncle Joshy and Shir so much - I think the only two words out of his mouth all weekend were "Shir - Josh!"
In the morning we all went to the zoo. Shir took all of these amazing pictures - I didn't even need to take out my camera once. Thanks Shir!
At one point - we came across these three peacocks just walking around - we weren't sure if they escaped or not - so we just stood and admired them and made sure to stay out of their way.
We then spent a bunch of time watching the Gorillas. The Zookeepers gave them Easter baskets filled with food - we all got a kick out of watching them tear them apart.
Thanks for a great weekend Joshy and Shir - come back soon!

Happy Purim

We managed to squeeze Seth into his Halloween costume so we all went as a Vampire family. I made the capes during Seth's nap yesterday!

We had so much fun at our temple's Purim celebrations. We started at the carnival where there was food, rides, and arts and crafts. Then Seth and I went to a song session and finally met Jerald for the megillah reading. Seth loved using his noise maker and saying "boo haman." A much better experience then last year - where every time the noise makers went off Seth started crying!

Avenue Q

Tonight was a big night! Jerald, Naomi, Jason, Josh, Sara and I went together to see Avenue Q for the first time. We all had a great time. I thought the show was hilarious, very clever, and a lot of fun. Thanks to Nana for the tickets and the babysitting! This was Nana's first time taking care of Seth and Becca at the same time. Nana did an amazing job, as always!!!

Cuddle-Up Shabbat

We had a really busy afternoon. Seth and I went to visit his friend Noah. Then we all went to our temple to sing shabbat songs. We then had a yummy dinner. Here is a picture of Noah, Jerald, Seth and Doug walking back from dinner.

At the park

Part of playgroup was held at the park today. It makes me realize what a long winter it has been when I see the complete joy on Seth's face when he gets to frolic outside. Spring get her soon!

60th Wedding Anniversary Party

The reason for everyone coming to Florida was to celebrate my grandparents, Joseph and Gloria's, 60th Wedding Anniversary. Don't they look amazing??? They are standing next to a beautiful collage my Mom made that has their wedding picture, a recent picture, and the invitation that I made for the party. We were all so happy to be together - celebrating such an amazing milestone. 60 years together, with two children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and many other friends and family together celebrating. We love you two more than words can say ~ it is a privilege to be a part of your family.

We all cleaned up pretty nicely. Doesn't Seth look like such a little man?

Here is my grandparents with their two children, my Uncle Ken and my Mom.

Here are my cousins Catesby and Wilson and my Aunt Lauren and Uncle Ken. It was so great to get to spend time with them!

Here are my brother's girlfriend, Shir, my cousin, Wilson, my brother Josh, and me.

Here is an example of how Seth ate millions of M&M's - he just smiled and picked a color and everyone was more than happy to feed him!

all smiles...

Seth hung in there for most of the party - but by the time we took this picture he was coming down from a big sugar high from all the M&M's the other party goers fed him.

Besides this little melt-down - it was a fantastic party and a great way to celebrate my grandparents.

In the Pool - day 2

This is the palm tree that Josh and I took pictures in front of, every year we came to visit my grandparents. It was very surreal to be posing with Seth.

Another great day in the pool. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop us. It was great having my cousins, Catesby and Wilson, my brother, Josh, and his girlfriend, Shir, at the pool with us.

Today we even got Gra in the pool. Which just shows how much she loves Seth - because Gra never goes in the pool! Thanks Gra - Seth really appreciated it!

Jerald and I playing in the pool

We even raced - Jerald gave me a huge head start, of course he won anyway.
Thanks to Gra and Shir for all the florida pictures!
