Birthday Presents

This morning Jerald and I gave Seth our birthday present to him - a sand and water table. Since it is still a little cold outside, we set it up in the kitchen with just water. What a huge hit! He really enjoyed pouring water down the funnels and washing his dishes. So funny! When the weather warms up we will put it on our back porch - sand and all.

Haircuts

Almost two weeks ago we took Seth, Ronak and Joshua to get their haircut and then we went out to lunch. They all got matching shades as a prize for being such good boys. These pictures just make me smile!!!

Weekend at Nana's House

We spent the end of Passover at Nana's house. We had so much fun hanging out with Nana, Great-Gram, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, and Uncle Jono.

Seth had a ton of fun with so many playmates. It was great having him spend quality time with Great-Gram.
Doesn't it look like Nana and Great-Gram are getting ready to mail a very special package?

Thanks to Nana for all her hard work over the holiday - she cooked and cleaned more than you can imagine. Of course it all tasted wonderful - and we feel so lucky to have spent the weekend with family.

We are now back home after many days of travels. Today we hung out at Nana's house. Here are some cute pictures of Seth being sweet to Becca. He even let her hold his beloved Cuddly!!!

And here is Aunt Sara encouraging the sweetness!

Family and Second Seder

Today we drove from New York back to Boston to have the Second Seder at Nana's house. It was great spending time with so many family around. In attendance were: Aunt Naomi, Uncle Jason, Cousin Becca (pictured here), Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, Uncle Jono, Great-Grandaddy and Great Uncle Dave. Whew! That is a lot of family!
Seth did great at this seder as well. We sang some songs he liked and unbeknownst to us, Nana had taught him how to say the four questions in English. I was so impressed when he said them all - with some prompting from Nana. Good Job Nana!!! It was so great!

Family and First Seder

Seth had such a great time in New York hanging out with so many family members. Pa, Great Grandma, Great-Pa, Uncle Joshy and my Aunt Uncle and cousins.

Great-Pa conducted a wonderful first Passover seder. Seth seemed to enjoy himself and was following along a bit. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful beginning to the holiday!

Enjoying the Outdoors

It was amazing weather in New York - Seth kept saying "outside!" so Grandma and Great-Pa took Seth to a park. Seth also loved playing hide-go-seek in Grandma and Pa's backyard.

In New York

Yesterday, Seth and I made the journey down to New York in our new car. Seth loves talking about "Mom's new red car!" Grandma (which Seth can say now - no more "Gra") - was there waiting for us. Today we have been doing some errands. One of which was eating frozen yogurt at 10:00 am!!!

Car Shopping

Yesterday we spent hours car shopping. Seth had a blast tearing the place apart. Jerald was very successful at negotiating - so I picked up our new Honda CRV today! This is not a picture of it - just one of the many cars seth was playing with. We will get a picture soon.

Softball

Today Seth and I went to support Jerald in his first outing for our temple softball team. Seth was slightly concerned when he first saw Jerald in the catchers mask. Then he thought the whole thing was really neat. After watching a lot of Red Sox Baseball on TV he now got to see the real action!

He was very fascinated by the bats and helmets. He was ready to play. He kept trying to take the bat and run on the field. I think Little League is in our future.

Unfortunately, our team lost, but we were so proud of Jerald in his first softball game! Jerald played catcher and 3rd base. He has had some nice hits. We are looking forward to more games with warmer weather!

Beautiful Day!

It was perfect weather in Boston today - so Seth and I made the most of it. We spent the afternoon with our Cambridge friends at a park. It is amazing to compare what Seth can do now at the park compared with the fall. It is going to be a fun and active summer!

After the park, we met Jerald in Harvard Square for a pizza dinner outside. Great day!

Ronak's First Trip to the Franklin Park Zoo

Clearly we go to the zoo a lot! Well, it is very close to our house, we have a membership, there is free parking, and Seth and all the other kids love it. But for some reason we hadn't gotten Ronak to the zoo - until today. Ronak came over to motivate us to get dressed and out the door to the zoo. How cute are the boys on the couch and then giving each other hugs!

Ronak seemed to have a great time at the zoo. For the first time we sat in this broken down truck.

Seth and Ronak took turns on the steering wheel.

And look what they were "driving" into... (if you can't tell that is a Lion in the distance).
We spent a lot of time playing on these trains. The boys loved them.

Below is a picture of Sarita and Ronak waving to us while we were taking a snack break.
We had a great day - and we are so excited for more nice weather!

Buzz Lightyear

Uncle Joshy witnessed first hand Seth's growing love for Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Seth was happily surprised with an early birthday present from Uncle Joshy.

Buzz Lightyear!!!

Seth was so happy. He has been playing with him nonstop! Thanks Uncle Joshy!!!

Sunday Brunch

Our good friends, Brian (pictured above with Seth), Rebecca, Danny and their son Ben (pictured below with Seth ) stayed with us this weekend. It was so great having them stay with us. We got to show them our house and we took them to the zoo! Seth had so much fun playing with Brian. And Seth was a very sweet boy to Ben - sharing his toys and everything!

We invited the rest of the New York crew who came to town for our party over for brunch today. Seth helped with the baking! Thanks to Brian for bringing bagels.

60th Birthday Party ~ We're Over the Hill Together!!!

Jerald came up with the idea for us to celebrate our 30th birthdays together - in one big party - our 60th Birthday Party. And we pulled it off last night. Jerald got us these cute matching shirts that say "Vintage 1978" We rented out part of a bar for all our friends to gather.

And of course we had to have cupcakes that said "60" on them! We had so much fun celebrating with so many of our friends. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out. There were many of our avid blog readers in attendance. And as I was running around taking pictures - many people yelled - "hey, is this going to be on the blog? i have never been on blog!" So, I think we got most people in attendance on the blog today.

Here are my LIFTY friends (high school Jewish youth group). Many of them came from New York especially for our party. It meant so much to us to have them make the trip to Boston to celebrate with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
