9 Months Old!!!

I think we can say that our baby is not a little baby anymore - he is a crazy moving and grooving man!  He spent most of this month perfecting his crawl.  He alternates between a traditional crawl and the army man.  He was also worked hard on pulling up to standing, which he can now do anywhere and on anything.  He now can climb stairs (Jerald it is time to get gates!!!).  His personality is coming out more and more.  He gives big belly laughs when his brothers are being silly.  He gives me big and wet open mouth kisses.  He has also started waving and clapping!  What a big month....

Paci wars

Justin still loves his paci.  If he is allowed to (which unfortunately he usually is - we are working on it!) he has it in his mouth or nearby.  Ezra doesn't usually seem interested in a paci - unless it is near Justin or in his mouth.  Lately, Ezra has been stealing Justin's paci's when he can.  Justin usually snatches it back pretty quickly - but I have gotten some pictures.

End of Social Butterflies

Ezra's time in Social Butterflies came to an end way too fast!  It was so special to be able to get to take this wonderful class with Ezra.  It was great to have him play in a safe place, with age appropriate toys and kids his own age.  It is really sad that this class is over for another reason.  The place where we took our pregnancy classes and all the new mom and baby classes in Brookline is closing.  I have so many wonderful memories of the boys as babies growing and having fun here.  I was also able to meet some amazing women.

I am in trouble

Not a great picture - but you get the idea.  Yes, that is Ezra just having climbed on top of a box and trying to make his way up the bookcase.  Keep in mind - we have no gates in our house and a little man not quite 9 months who is climbing and moving really fast!

Salisbury Beach

Today we went to Nana's good friends' (Gloria & Mark) beach house in Salisbury for the day.  It was a fantastic day!  We had so much playing with Aunt Na, Uncle Jason, Becca, Ari, Uncle Jono, Aunt Sara, Uncle Josh, Zev and Nana.  We built sandcastles, played in the water, ate, played boccie ball, ladder ball (new game!), and had lots of laughs.  Thank you so much to Gloria and Mark for hosting and Nana for organizing and cooking!

Mommy Camp - the first two weeks!

Seth's tour of camps is officially over, and so is our fantastic vacations - so we now are entering almost 5 weeks of what we call "Mommy Camp!"  We have had a really nice two weeks.  The first couple of days were a little uneasy since we needed to find a schedule and a groove that worked for everyone.  We have had big and little adventures - visiting my friend Jill from college and her two little ones, plus her dog whom Ezra loved (she liked him on the face!) and Justin was afraid of - eating ice cream while watching the trains - playing in the backyard and every other nook and crany of our house - visiting Aunt Na, Ari and Becca for playtime and lunch - trying out new playgrounds - getting haircuts - spending time with Nana and Great-Gram! - and lots of other little things.

Cape Cod 2011 - day #8 - last day!

Today was our last day on vacation.  We spent the morning cleaning and packing.  Let me tell you it is not easy traveling with five people!!!  So much stuff!  We then gave a lot of hugs and kisses to Grandma and Pa ~ we took a last dip in the pool and headed home.

A huge thank you, thank you, thank you to Grandma and Pa for such an amazing vacation.  We had so much fun, adventures, love, giggles and made amazing memories (as you can tell from our many pictures!).  We love you so much and thank you again for this very special gift!

Cape Cod 2011 - day #7

Grandma and Pa started our last full day on vacation right - with a story hour featuring Curious George!  Justin would only get in the picture if Grandma was in it.

We then headed to the beach and found a wide variety of sea creatures...

After lunch and nap we went to the pool for a lot more fun and pictures.

Yummy last dinner and then to the beach to watch the sunset...

Cape Cod 2011 - day #6

The weather has gotten a little cooler - but we decided to head down to the beach to take advantage of low tide and walk as far as we could.  We found lots of different sea creatures.

Back on the beach we tried to launch this kite - it would not stay up in the air and made such funny sounds looping in the air.
Back on dry land we picked up Daddy and Ezra after his morning nap and took two new kites up to a grassy area.  They went straight up.  Pa and I had a race to see which kite could get higher.  He won (his string was longer) - but when we were reeling them in Pa lost his grip and we lost the kite.  The spool got stuck up a tree and for the next 6 hours we were able to see Pa's kite flying above the cape.  It was really funny - I couldn't stop laughing all day!

In other news - our determined crawling baby has been getting faster and now has a new trick - pulling up to standing!  Here he is so proud of himself the very first time.
While Ezra was hard at work and Justin was napping - Seth, Pa and Jerald had a lively round of mini-golf.  In the afternoon the boys and Grandma and Pa went for a quick swim.

After Ezra was asleep - Grandma and Pa took over for the boys and Jerald and I ran down to the beach just in time to catch a beautiful sunset.
