Passover 2009 ~ First Seder

We had an absolutely wonderful first seder at Nana's! It was great having so much family there and the boys behaved amazingly. All of Seth's hard work and practice also really showed - first Seth and Nana told the Passover story, with Seth playing Moses and leading everyone else out of Egypt - well, everyone except for Nana who was dressed as Pharoah. Then, when it came time, Seth did a great job with the four questions, saying the first two in Hebrew!

Even Justin got in on the action wearing the Pharaoh hat for a little while.

From there everyone read, sang, and told stories. Seth's favorite might have been Diyenu - he really got into it. Below are just some of the pictures from the night. As you can see, Seth stayed up way past his bedtime, but didn't want to miss out on the action - so he just put a pillow on the floor at about 10:30 - he didn't end up in bed until after 11:00!

Thank you Nana for organizing such an amazing, kid-friendly seder. From hiding frogs all over the room, to costumes, to wonderful food you really made it a special night for all of us. We love you!
