Let's go fly a kite...

Today we went to the Boston Kite Festival - it was being held at a park near our house that we had never been to. As you can see from the pictures it was a beautiful day with an amazing blue sky. Unfortunately, there was very little wind. So all the "professionals" with the really cool kites weren't really able to put them in the air.

We did have a great time. Seth helped pick out this kite and had so much fun running around with it following him. He didn't even care that it wasn't getting up in the air.

Seth and I "ran" in a kids race and he came in 3rd place - and got a ribbon for it! He laughed the whole way.

Jerald was determined to get the kite flying - and finally he got it in the air...

and both Seth and Jerald were able to fly it. Great day!!!
