Justin's Art Show 2013

As Justin's school year is winding down, his school puts on a big art show.  His whole classroom was filled with original artwork by the kids.  It was amazing to see it all together.  Justin was so incredibly proud and so were we!  He took us to each one of his art pieces one by one.  Some amazing stuff! (they are all hanging in our house now if you would like to see them in person).

Some thoughts about Justin

Just a couple of things that make Justin so ---- Justin - that I wanted to write down.

He has forever changing passions..... He will be so into something for a week or even a day.  He becomes consumed with it.  His clothes, drawing and toys all need to relate to it.  Some recent highlights have been yoda, ninjago, scar, a feather in his hat, and the latest is being a dog and having friends over for a dog party.

One other thing that makes Justin so Justin.  Every night before you goes to bed he comes up with a new variation on "I love you more than..."  Some recent examples - i love you more than choclate, i love you more than rainbows, i love you more than eyebrows, i love you more than rainbow eyebrows....

The other day he said "when I grow up I am going to be a lion."

Ezra at Gym Class

It has been a long ride with My Gym...  I started bringing Seth when he was 18 months old because he couldn't climb up on the couch (2 weeks later he got it).  I took Justin there for two years and now Ezra for two years.  They all loved it - but no one more so than Ezra.  He will be going to school 5 days a week in the fall so no more time for My Gym.  I hope to enroll him in the gymnastics school Justin goes to.  It has been fun!

Seth's Siddur Celebration

We were so proud of Seth this morning!  After performing in the Noah's Ark play with his class he received his first siddur (prayer book) that he will use at school during the year.  It was so wonderful to see how happy, confident and proud Seth was of his accomplishments.

Just had a little stomach bug overnight so we weren't sure he was going to make it.  He didn't want to do the little dance (i thought it was the stomach but probably more stage fright).  He rallied and did all the other stations and got the coolest medal at the end.  He and we were so proud!  A big thanks to Nana and Grandma for coming to the show!

Great-Beginnings Reunion

We had one of Seth's first friends Joshua and his family over for brunch.  It was so fun to see the boys back together and to catch up with our old friends.

Jerald's Birthday

 Happy Birthday Jerald!!!  We celebrated by going out to dinner just the two of us and then having a bbq today.  Ribs for the meat eater!  He seemed to enjoy.  I love you more than I can say.  You are my best friend and I could not imagine my life without you.  I hope you had a very happy birthday!
