Swingset Excitement!

 The day is finally here - the three hour installation of our new swingset!  The boys pulled up a seat and watched as their new play structure was carefully constructed in the backyard.  When Jerald got home, the workers were just finishing and Seth and Justin couldn't wait any longer to try it out.

Ezra's 4 month stats...

E did great at the doctor's today.  His 4 month stats =
Weight = 15lbs 5oz ~ 50th %
Length = 25 and 3/4 inchs ~ 75th %

4 months old!!!

 Ezra is 4 months old today!  Time is really starting to fly by.  Ezra is really becoming an active member of the family.  This month Ezra rolled over from his front to his back for the first time.  He also rolls to his side often - so a roll from his back to his front might not be that far away.  Ezra now can sit in the bumbo seat and has started "tri-pod" sitting.  Watch out world!  Ezra recognizes his Mommy and Daddy and of course his big brothers - by giving us all big smiles and big belly laughs.

Grandma Visits

 We had a wonderful visit with Grandma at the end of this week and into the weekend.  We did so much and had so much fun.  Grandma got to come to Justin's art/music class, visit Seth's school for next year which had a clown that we all found so entertaining, and have lots of fun in our house.  Pa came up for a quick visit over the weekend (sorry no pictures of Pa!).  We had a great time!!!

 What a big boy Ezra is becoming.  Today he tried out successfully both "tri-pod" sitting and the bumbo chair.  Too cute!

Seth's Gamalim Performance

Parents Breakfast #2

It was Parent's Breakfast #2 today at Seth's school and this time Jerald had the honor.  Seth has been excited for weeks about the performance they would be putting on and couldn't wait to bring Daddy to school!

After a nutritious breakfast (brownies for breakfast - why not?), the kids went to get in their costumes and get some final tips from the teachers while the parents watched a slide show of pictures from the year.  There were lots of great pictures of Seth, with him doing his classic pose in many of them.  The parents then took their seats for a show about the creation of the world.

Seth was wonderful, getting a big laugh for his monkey and signing the songs in both Hebrew and English.  He was so proud of himself afterwards - and we are too!

The Boys Back in Boston

Not many pictures of the boys weekend since I had the camera ~ but the big boys had a wonderful time home with Daddy as Ezra and I were in Florida.  Friday night they had a yummy shabbat dinner at Nana's, Saturday they went to the science museum with Nana.  They learned that Justin does not like the planetarium but that Seth really does.  Seth called me on the phone that night and said, "Mommy, do you know what?  Millions of years ago the Earth did not exist.  Then there was a cloud of smoke and a big bang and then there was Earth." Thank you Nana for helping them stay well fed while I was out of town.

Saturday night they went to dinner with Uncle Jono and Sunday they had two birthday parties.  Ezra and I got the best greeting when we walked through the door.  And Justin told me I was never going away again.

Ezra & Mommy's Trip to Florida

 Ezra and I had a very big weekend!  We took a quick trip to florida to visit Great-Grandma and Great-Pa and Grandma and Pa met us down there.  Ezra had so many firsts...  his first plane ride, his first time wearing shorts, his first time in the pool, his first time being in warm weather (it has been a LONG and COLD boston winter), his first time in florida but most importantly ~ his first time meeting Great-Grandma and Great-Pa!!!

As you can see it was love and first sight!  Ezra gave great big smiles and lovely coos everytime he was near Great-Grandma and Great-Pa.  We were sorry we couldn't bring everyone down to visit - but we wanted some alone time so everyone could get to know each other.  We were so sad to say goodbye but we will all be back soon for Uncle Joshy and Aunt Shir's wedding this summer!

Thank you so much to Jerald for encouraging Ezra and I to make the trip and for taking care of the older boys.  You are the best!!!

Ezra is still at that age where he can sleep anywhere.  We are moving to some more structured naps in the crib but it is so cute when he sleeps on your shoulder...

Thank you everyone for a wonderful birthday!  I was so happy to get so many phone calls, emails, texts, cards and facebook posts.  I feel very loved!  Thank you to my family for making it a special day - and to Jerald for always making me feel so special and loved!

Playdate with Tenley

Justin had a wonderful playdate with his new friend Tenley - who is just a little older then he is.  Imagine what kind of trouble they will get into when they can actually sit up!  I had a great time catching up with Tenley's Mom Sera!!!
