Storyland - Day #1

After a long day of packing, picking up the mini-van, more packing and a long drive - we finally made it to Storyland in New Hampshire!!! Seth, Justin, Daddy, Nana and I were so excited to be greeted by Humpty Dumpty himself as we went through the front gates. We hadn't done much planning as to what rides we wanted to go on so we just got on the first line we saw - for the antique cars. It was a good lesson in being patient and waiting (about 20 minutes) but it was worth the wait for Seth's first drive (video coming). We all giggled the whole way. Next stop - the polar coaster. Since I am a big wimp when it comes to rides - Jerald was determined to make Seth into his ride partner. As the boys waited on line - Nana and I watched the roller coaster go again and again - and we got more and more anxious. We were really weren't sure whether Seth would like it or not. Well - he loved it. I couldn't get a great picture of his face while it was going but Seth's mouth was wide open in a big smile (that is Jerald's arm up in the air in the front of the car). A big success!Next we went on the jungle safari ride - of course Seth still loves his animals. Here he is doing his best impression of a lion. Storyland is so kid friendly - there are so many rides Justin could go on. I think he enjoyed the safari ride.

The final ride for day #1 was a big ferris wheel. It was nice to see the mountains and the rest of the park. After a nice dinner at the Muddy Moose, Seth, Nana and Daddy went to play some shuffleboard while I put Justin to bed. Then we all rested up for our big day #2...
