Introducing - Suzanne & Frank Busso!

Yesterday, Jerald and I attended another fantastic wedding! After two straight weeks of rain it was a gorgeous sunny day yesterday as Suzanne and Frank exchanged their vows. The couple was glowing and smiling all day long. It was so wonderful to be there supporting two people we love on their special day! Here are our pictures from the weekend.

We got to spend a great weekend with our BU Law School crew. When we all get together you really never know what will happen. Don't worry... we don't have those pictures here! Cat ~ we are waiting for you to figure out how to put your pictures online!

Anyway, Frank & Suzanne, we all had a fabulous time and may you love and enjoy each other as much as you did yesterday!

Since Jerald and I are still in our wedding season - I have weddings on the mind. I didn't have this blog up and going when my wonderful sister-in-law got married. Naomi & Jason's wedding was beautiful. I thought I would share the pictures.

Pumpkin Muffins

Yesterday was Jerald's secretary's birthday. And I made my "famous" pumpkin muffins for her. Apparently they were a big hit. So I thought I would share the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 box spice cake mix
1 can pumpkin

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the ingredients. Put mixture in muffin tin. Bake 25 minutes.

Nutrition Facts: (I am guessing here)
150 calories
1 gram fat

Now what could be easier than that?

If you want to get a little crazy, replace the ingredients with 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix and 1 can crushed pineapple. YUM!!!

Rain, rain go away....

Don't come back until I get to use our pool! There is this beautiful pool just waiting for me. The poor guy in our building who has to clean the pool everyday has been out there every morning at 6:30 am - rain or rain - cleaning the pool. And no one has even used it yet!

So, Jerald and I had a great weekend. And no, we did not even go to a wedding! Jerald and I hung around, went to the driving range, and saw an exhibit at the MFA (Museum of Fine Arts). We saw the Ralph Lauren exhibit. It was a bunch of his really cool cars on display. Crazy stuff....

Debbie & Tim

Last weekend one of my oldest and best friends Debbie was married. A fun and wonderful wedding. It was just fantastic to be there for such an old and dear friend. While Debbie and Tim were reciting their vows my mind drifted back to all that we all had been through. What all had happened to culminate with the two of them in such deep love standing in front of their friends and families committing themselves to each other. It was just beautiful!

Jerald's Birthday

In celebration of Jerald's 27th Birthday (which was yesterday) I thought what could be cuter than posting a picture of him from his early years. Come on, he is damn cute!

Spa in California

Here is Jerald and I in December at a spa on our recent trip to California. We had the most fantastic time. Getting massages, taking limo tours to vineyards, spending time with friends - what could be better!

Day 640 - A great place to start

So, I have been wanting to have a blog for a while. I have started a couple of different ones and they have never taken. What has inspired me this time? A lovely email from thenest.com "You have been married for 640 days." Wow, where has the time gone!!! And why does thenest.com feel the need to keep reminding me how quickly it is all going?

Jerald and I were married in August 2003. Just two short weeks after taking the bar. Yes we are insane. But look how happy we were that day... (see above)

And 640 days later we are still just as happy... (see above)

Ok so that picture was not taken exactly on day 640 but you get the idea.

So in coming up with a "reason" to write a blog I thought about what makes me the most happy. And of course I came up with Jerald.
