Cape Cod Vacation - Day #3
We started out at the pool this morning - it was a big hit. Both boys seem more comfortable in the water and love jumping in the pool, being thrown up in the pool and laughing in the pool!

We all woke up today ready to hit the beach. The tide was out so there was plenty of room to dig and play...

After a morning of packing, cleaning, and sitting in some traffic - we arrived on the Cape to find Grandma and Pa already unpacking into our vacation house. We were all so excited to see each other. After getting settled and taking a quick peak at the beach we headed out to dinner where we enjoyed our first ice cream of the vacation. Yummy! After the boys bedtime Uncle Joshy and Shir arrived. We all got to bed early to rest up for the beach and pool tomorrow.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Julie and Mike's wedding today! It was a beautiful wedding filled with so much love. Thanks to Nana for babysitting the boys!

I can probably chalk it up to pregnancy nesting - but I have been craving home baked goods. Today marks the second official "Muffin Sunday!" Last week I made fresh whole wheat chocolate chip muffins, which were a big hit! Today I did a whole wheat coffee cake muffin. They were good - but a little overdone. I will try them again.

We had a wonderful visit with Grandma! It worked out really well - with Seth in camp in the morning, Grandma got to spend some quality time with Justin - reading books and playing with balls. After this visit Justin really can say "Grandma!" and he chooses to say it often! With Justin napping for three hours most days (I know it is awesome!) Seth and Grandma got their alone time - reading books (Ms. Nelson is Missing was read at least a million times), playing jungle, and snuggling.

As we try to keep our house clean for showings, sometimes we get special breakfasts out on the porch!!! Thanks to Nana for letting her house be a wonderful escape during all of the showings!!!

Today was our big ultrasound. It was our first really good look at baby #3. Everything looked wonderful - just the way it should be! And the big news is... it is a BOY!!! We are three for three with boys - I think we are working on some sort of sports team?!? Seth came with us to the ultrasound (Justin was with Nana - thanks Nana!!!). It was really so special to have Seth there. He was just as excited as we were to see the baby and find out that he was a boy. The day before, we asked Seth if he thought the baby was a boy or a girl - he said both "that way if it is a boy or a girl I will be right!" Later that evening Seth announced at dinner that "Mommy is in charge of all the penises in the whole house!" That is right!!! We are so excited for this third baby boy. All we have to do now is come up with a name...

1. We just started a new music class last week - Justin LOVES it. He is singing along with the songs - following the teachers movements with his arms, sticks and egg shakers. It is such a joy to be in the class with him.

We debated going away for the long weekend but decided to stick around Boston and do some of the things we never get to do - like go to the beach. It was so much fun. The boys had fun in the sand and in the water.
