My baker
Ezra used to bake most weeks with Nana. He is definitely missing that time. We had some free time today and he wanted to make sugar cookies. Yum!
Science Fair 2017
This was an interesting year for Seth's science experiment. His first idea - growing plants in pants - was rejected by his science teacher as being silly. Seth was very serious. He said he wanted to see how plants would grow in pants. When asked what the variables were, he said, the material of pants and how many pockets they had?!? Not his best idea :-)
He then moved on to mold - I didn't want it taking up so much room in the kitchen so we set it up in his room. Not the best idea either! The milk began to smell pretty quickly. The last night of his experiment, his room smelled so bad he moved out and slept on Justin's floor. His room is pretty dry so all the bread lost its moisture and didn't grow any mold. Well, the poster looked great!

Cradles to Crayons
Great afternoon volunteering with Seth at Cradles to Crayons with his camp. We were in charge of sorting toys. They have very high standards for the quality. As they explained it - this could be the only toy a kid has. We had to sort and make tough decisions. They do not accept any stuffed animals so we were supposed to throw it out. Seth could not throw out the stuffed animals - he said it was too sad. What a sweet kid!

Happy 39 th me!!!
