Ezra's first gym class
Now that Ezra really seems to be giving up his morning nap (fingers crossed!) he is taking his own gym class. I am sure it is no big surprise that he loved every part - except for sitting during circle time. It will take some practice.

Seth - shabbat helper
Today, Seth was the shabbat helper in his kindergarten class. Justin, Jerald, Nana and I all went to the celebration. It was a little chaotic because Seth's teacher had to run out for an emergency so the assistant teacher took over. But Seth seemed very comfortable leading, being the center of attention, and happy to have us join in.

Purim Carnival
It took a lot of planning and arranging (thanks Jerald for moving your schedule around!) but I was able to volunteer at the Purim carnival for Seth's school. I was in charge of the bean bag toss. It was a lot of fun to spend time with Seth, his friends and other kids at the school. The carnival was so well done with arts and crafts, games and two bouncy houses! Seth decided to go dressed as a Vampire Witch. He is actually wearing the cape from his 2 year old vampire costume.

Purim
The boys and I made hamantashen for the first time. 89 of them to be exact! The big boys were pretty helpful - Ezra made things interesting when he figured out how to climb on the kitchen table where we were rolling out the dough and began eating it!
We celebrated by going to our temple for the megillah reading. We went as the Super Family again. We were so happy that Nana was able to join us for all the fun!
Part way through Jerald came back from his business trip and met us at temple. We were all so happy to see him. Here is Ezra giving him a big hug!
