House stuff

The joy of home ownership!  We had a very busy day and a lot of excitement with 4 big trees being taken down on our property - while the others were trimmed.  The boys were glued to the window watching every move.  Our favorite was when the big crane picked up a worker and dropped him in a tall tree!  Next projects include fixing our leaking shower (the one we just had re-done 1 1/2 years ago!) and insulating the house.

Seth's first two teeth!

It seems like yesterday that Seth got his first tooth.  Well it and one more are now gone!  Today, Seth had his bottom two middle teeth pulled by the dentist.  One of the adult teeth already came in - so the baby teeth had to go to make way.  Seth was so brave and a great patient.  He did not like the feeling of the Novocaine wearing off.  But he did like watching tv on the couch with a snack!  I don't know how - but Seth knows there is no tooth fairy.  He told me so himself.  I decided at that point - why should we lie.  So we have been honest that Jerald and I are the tooth fairy.  He still put his teeth out for us.  And he was super excited in the morning to find $2 and a new Mr. Potato head.  We are so proud of you!

Brunch with Nana and Great-Gram

Elena and Angie Visit

Our wonderful friends Sitso and Maria came for a visit with their two adorable girls Elena and Angie. We haven't seen the girls since we went to Sesame place a year and a half ago!  We missed them so much so we were so happy to have everyone stay over.  Within minutes Seth and Elena were best buddies again.  They spent the whole weekend playing, talking and even snuggling!  Angie and Justin got along great as well.

One night out at dinner Seth and Elena decided they needed their own table to be by themselves.  Too cute!

Dave came over for a visit and had them all entertained by his bedtime stories.  It was a wonderful visit - and we hope to do it again very soon!!!!

Shabbat Sing

 Once a month, there is a lovely shabbat sing-a-long at Seth's school.  Justin and I go everytime and we get to sit with Seth and his class and sing.  This month we had two very special guests - Great-Gram and Nana!  The boys were so happy to share this time with them.  Thanks for coming!

Superbowl 2012

 We decided we had to throw a Superbowl party to support our beloved Patriots.  Even though the outcome was not what we hoped, but we had so much fun decorating, cooking, cheering and dancing at halftime with friends and family!!!
