Happy Birthday Becca!

We were so happy to be able to celebrate Becca's 2nd birthday!!! Where has the time gone? Becca was a wonderful hostess. She was so happy with all her lovely presents and spent time with her most favorite guests - her cousins.

Jerald finally got some time to hold our nephew - Zev. We even captured his smile!!! He already loves his Uncle Jerald.

Becca, Seth and Justin played so nicely together - we are just waiting for Zev to get into the crazy mix! It was really nice celebration. Happy 2nd Birthday Becca - we love you!!!

Fun at home

We are so happy that Daddy is back safe and sound after his successful business trip in Texas. We missed him so much!!! It was so cold today that we hunkered down inside and made our own fun in the house.

Naina

We were so happy to go over and visit our very good friend Ronak and his new baby sister Naina! She is beautiful and Justin seemed very interested in this whole baby thing. Seth and Ronak were thrilled to get to run around together.

Nana to the rescue!!!

Jerald is out of town for three sleeps (in Texas at a business trip). Thankfully Nana is here to help!!! Last night we entertained ourselves by meeting some friends out at IHop for dinner. This morning Nana was over bright and early to take Justin for the morning - we did our switch in the middle of the day where she took Seth and Justin and I went to class. Later in the afternoon Nana and Seth were back. We had a nice dinner together and the boys got a special treat because Nana gave them a bath! Nana stayed to make sure Justin was in bed and Seth was on his way. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nana!!! You are always such a big help - but it was REALLY appreciated this week. We love you!!!

Daddy Comes to Music Class!!!

We had a very special treat today in Music class - Daddy!!! Jerald was heading out of town for a business trip so was able to join us for music.

We had so much fun singing and dancing with daddy!!!

Baking Muffins

Zoo

We took a trip to the Zoo today with Nana. We had a really nice time getting outside for a little bit - looking at the lion and the tigers. We spent most of the time inside looking at the gorillas. Justin loved the gorillas - he actually loved most of the animals getting so excited every time we saw a new one. We had a picnic lunch while looking at the fish. Nana let Seth take some pictures with her camera - this is one of them. It was a really nice way to spend a Sunday!

Sprouts - IN the activity

Justin is walking!!!

December 16th - Justin took his first two steps. I cheered and he smiled! From then on - Justin would take a few steps here and there but it was not until today that I would say he really started walking. He has been taking 5 or more steps and then sometimes gracefully and sometimes not so gracefully ends up on the floor. Justin is just so proud of himself it is so fun to watch. I will try to get video very soon!

Playdate with Zev

Zev and his parents Aunt Sara and Uncle Josh came over for a playdate on this day off from school. We had a lot of fun with our guests and were happy to get a picture of the boys with their newest cousin. I even got to hold Zev for a few minutes when he wasn't eating - too cute!!!

Grandma & Pa Visit

We had another great visit with Grandma and Pa. We took advantage of the nice weather on Saturday and walked around our town getting lunch and visiting the toy store! Grandma and Pa even let Jerald and I go out to a yummy dinner with some friends (thanks Sera and Paul - we had fun!) and put both boys to sleep.

On Sunday Grandma and Pa took the boys by themselves to this new indoor playspace - from the pictures and the first hand accounts it sounded like a lot of fun.

Reading Time

This is the reason to have two kids... I was cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast and trying to rush us out of the door to get Seth to school. And it was very quiet in the house. I peaked into Seth's room to find Seth quietly and patiently reading to Justin. It was so sweet I nearly cried!

Sprouts

A new year a new class - we have graduated to Sprouts! This class still has songs, parachute and a book but now they add an activity and snack. Today's activity was playing with moon sand I think I had more fun playing with the sand then Justin...

Justin's First "Real" Music Class

Today Justin started his own music class. I say this because - Justin at one month old came to Seth's music class for awhile. But slept or ate through most of it. So this was his first time participating in music class. Justin loved it! It was really nice to take a class with some of Seth's friends younger siblings where Justin can work on his own relationships.

Justin wiggled, smiled, danced and explored the room. It was a big success!

this is what Justin's hair looks like after a bath - it usually straightens out after a nap - but not always. i hate to say it - but it looks like a haircut might be in justin's future...

New Years Day

A New Years Day tradition has been born! We bundled up and headed downtown to look at the beautiful ice sculptures that were made for Boston's New Years celebration. It was cold - but it was great to get outside and see the amazing creations.
