Seth's New Ride

Music Class

Seth and I have been enjoying our new music class in our new town for the last six weeks. Unfortunately, today was our last class until September. Seth's Grandma and Grandpa got to tag along to join in on the fun for our last day.

Housewarming

Thanks to friends and family who came from near and far to welcome us to our new house. We met our deadline and we are now.... officially.... UNPACKED!!!

Keys

This is our lovely gate that protects the little man from going down our front stairs. Seth's Grandma and Grandpa came to town today for a visit and Grandma brought Seth some keys that used to be mine when I was little.

Seth has been so fasinated by them - it is crazy that he knows how they are supposed to work. So he has been working on unlocking the gate.

When that doesn't work they are always good for eating.

Lunch Line

We went to Sarita's house for a yummy lunch with Ronak and Owen. Seth eagerly eats anything that Sarita makes for him. On the menu today was... pasta with veggie chili, tofu with hoisin sauce, tater tots with ketchup and cherries. Yummy!!!

Introducing Jacob Ryan

On Sunday, one of my best friends from college, Jill, gave birth to her beautiful son Jacob Ryan. Seth and I were lucky enough to visit them in the hospital on Monday. He is absolutely gorgeous - and Jill and her husband Scott are so thrilled with the newest member of their family. Congratulations!!!

Playgroup in the Park

We beat the heat by meeting our playgroup in the park. Both Seth and Ronak loved the water deck.

Museum with Dad

We finally were able to take a trip to our favorite museum, The Children's Museum, with Dad. Seth had a great time showing Dad all of his favorite things.

Science Musuem

Today we went with Sarita and Ronak to the Science Musuem for the first time. Thanks for taking us!

The boys had fun playing with various balls and the huge water table.

We also walked through the special butterfly exhibit which was so interesting. Another fun outing!

Playgroup

We hosted the playgroup today. We had a lot of fun playing and eating lunch with ~ Joshua, Eli, Ronak and Mae. Thanks for coming!

The Zoo

Today we took our first family trip to the Zoo. Mike, Stacey and Noah were able to join us on our adventure - which was a lot of fun. It was a VERY hot day - but the boys seemed to really enjoy the animals. We visited the butterflies...

We also spent a lot of time being silly. We had a great time!

Old friends

We had some great visitors this weekend. Mike, Stacey and baby Noah stayed with us. Mike and Lauren met when they were born and their mothers joined a Mom's group. It was so great to be able to spend time with them and their adorable 10 month old son, Noah.

Snack in our Yard

This afternoon, Seth and I had a picnic snack in our new yard. We love grahm crackers!

In the Kitchen

Seth had a blast playing in the kitchen at the Children's Museum. He can open and close all the cabinets without me getting in his way.

This afternoon we headed over to our old apartment building to have a reunion with all the cute baby girls we left behind in Cambridge. Seth played it cool with all the girls. But they were all interested in him. From left to right... Seth (of course), Maria Sophia, Jane and Nalina.

Aunt Sara & Uncle Josh

We had a great afternoon and evening with Seth's Aunt Sara & Uncle Josh. They got a tour of our new house, played in Seth's play room, walked around our new neighborhood and then helped make a yummy dinner with homemade french bread! They even bought him this cute new frog towel - because he is too big for his old ones. Thanks!!!

Busy Day

Seth and I had a very busy day today...

He had his second haircut. To make him sit still I fed him 5 animal crackers!

We did some other errands and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory where we split a grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. How cute does his new haircut look?

Then we drove over to Harvard Square to meet up with my friend Ivy who is in town staffing a teen tour. It was wonderful getting to spend some time with her!

Back at home we went to the park and then took a walk. We are both pooped!

Happy 4th of July

We had a great day celebrating the 4th. Jerald was home from work and we spent some of the morning exploring the fun toddler playground that is right near our new house. After Seth's afternoon nap, our friends Dave and Chris (back from his time in the Navy stationed in Italy) came over to see our new place. Then we had a fantastic barbecue at our friend Sera and Paul's place in Cambridge. Thanks so much it was fun and yummy!

Erica & Mike's Wedding!

We were lucky to help celebrate the wedding of our good friends Erica and Mike. The happy couple lucked out with amazing weather. Erica and Mike were beaming the entire day. It was wonderful to watch!

We had a fun night celebrating. Thanks to Nana for babysitting.
