Vacation in NH - Day #4

We had another great day by the lake. Today was extra fun because of the duck! After Nana and Daddy convinced Seth to get in the duck - he happily spent most of the morning with the duck being pushed back and forth.

Becca even gave him a try.

Swimming Video

Vacation in NH - Day #3

Happy Birthday Aunt Na!!! We actually celebrated with cake, candles and singing last night before Uncle Jono and Uncle Jason had to head back to Boston.

Here is the birthday girl with her daughter Becca and husband Uncle Jason - how cute are they!

Today we tried out one of the other beaches on the lake that we are staying on. It was much more crowded but had a lot of shallow water for Seth and Becca to play in.

Seth actually tried his hand at swimming! He was moving himself along with his hands and kicking with his feet. I will put on a video of it later.

Uncle Josh and Aunt Sara can't sit still for long - they rented a boat and hit the water.

All in all - another fun day in the sun!

Vacation in NH - Day #2

Today Seth had his first mini-golf experience. He seemed to enjoy it. We got him playing the first three holes. After that, he was more interested in the ponds and fountains they had at the course.

Becca even got in on the game!

It was a fun outing. After the first couple of holes - we realized that a group of 6 adults and 2 kids was too much so we split up. I got 2 holes in 1! Jerald and Jono tied from our little group.

Vaction in NH - Day #1

Today was our first full day in New Hampshire. We drove here yesterday afternoon and had a lovely shabbat dinner. Nana rented a house for all of us to stay in (Nana, Aunt Na, Uncle Jason, Becca, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, Uncle Jono and the three of us). The house is great and amazingly seems to have enough room for all of us! We are very close to the beach so that is the first thing we did today. Seth did some digging in the sand but then got brave enough to head to the water and that is pretty much where he wanted to stay!

Here is Jerald teaching Uncle Jason to swim - it looks like they made great progress!

Uncle Josh giving Seth a ride.

Uncle Jono preparing for the big water fight that we all had. Seth thought it was really funny - he got into it splashing everyone.

Painting Pottery

We had a VERY rainy day in Boston - so we went to paint pottery with our friend Mae. Mae had been there before - so she showed us the ropes because it was our first time.

How cute do they look in their aprons???

Seth picked out a very cute frog to paint. He was very specific in what colors he wanted and had an amazing amount of concentration.

Besides the actual painting - the other fun part was washing the brushes. Here are Mae and Seth at the sink.
And here is the finished frog! Seth really painted it himself - I did the eyes after he was done - the frog looked really scary without eyes. After we ate lunch - all in all it was a very successful and fun morning!

Great-Grandma and Great-Pa Visit Boston!!!

After a great relaxing weekend, we had two very special visitors come to town. Great-Grandma and Great-Pa (my grandparents)!!! They haven't been to Boston since we moved into our new house last year - so they wanted to check it out and to spend some quality time with Seth. It was so fantastic having them here! Thank you so much for coming to visit. Seth became very attached to the two of them. We had so much fun playing in our house, reading books, singing songs, building castles and just being silly.

Yesterday, we took them to one of our favorite parks where Seth played in the water and we fed the birds cheerios!
Today we took Great-Grandma and Great-Pa to Seth's music class. They seemed to enjoy watching Seth and myself sing, dance, and look very silly.

My favorite part was when the teacher put on the "jam session" song - where she puts out all of the instruments and you just jam to the song. Seth picked out two special instruments and brought them over to Great-Grandma and Great-Pa to play with.

It was such a treat to have them come and stay with us. We love you so much!!!!
