Second Seder

We've been very fortunate the last several years to celebrate two different but wonderful seders with each side of our family. So, after a nice stop in Connecticut to see Jerald's aunt, uncle, cousins and their kids, we went to Nana's house for seder #2 with Aunt Naomi, Uncle Jason, Becca, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, Zev, Uncle Jono, Great-Uncle Dave and of course, Nana. The boys were great, with Seth making it all the way to the end at about 11:00!!! After Becca did the 4 questions in English (with some help), Seth did an amazing job with the 4 questions in Hebrew (also with some help). Seth, Becca and Nana also treated us all to some renditions of Passover songs and reenactments. The conversation was great and the meal was delicious - thank you Nana for hosting an amazing seder!

First Seder

We had a wonderful first seder on Long Island with Grandma (thanks for all the wonderful cooking and for going out of your way to fill all our kosher needs!), Pa, Great-Grandma, Great-Pa, Uncle Joshy, Shir, Susan (we missed you Rob!) and Karen. Seth did a great job with the English 4 questions - maybe the Hebrew will come out tomorrow. Everything was delicious and we had so much fun.

Justin's first bite of matzoh - how do you think a whole week of matzoh will go?

Family Fun on Long Island

We headed down to Grandma and Pa's house early Saturday morning to get a jump on playing and spending time together even before passover started. Seth was very busy playing with Uncle Joshy's old pirate lego set and helping Grandma get ready for the seder. Here they are baking yummy thumb cookies.

We were so happy to get to spend so much wonderful time with so many family members. Great-Pa and Great-Grandma came up from Florida. We hadn't seen them in a long time so we were so happy to get to play with them! My cousin Catesby came out to spend time with all of us - which was so much fun!
Uncle Joshy and Shir are always a big hit with the boys - and we were happy to get to catch up. Hopefully they can make a trip to visit us soon!
Justin had a lot of fun exploring Grandma and Pa's house - and getting into everything. We are exhausted from chasing him around. So much fun though!

Shabbat Helper Videos

Seth - Kofim Shabbat Helper

Seth was the shabbat helper for his class today. Nana, Daddy, Justin and I were all able to be special visitors for the shabbat celebration. Seth did a great job saying the prayers over the candles, wine and bread. He also helped lead his friends with their shabbat songs and did a fantastic job carrying the torah around the classroom. It was all too cute for words!

Justin's 15 Month Stats

Justin was so brave at his doctor's appointment. He didn't even make a sound until the third shot! He actually cried more on the scale because he couldn't be in my arms (we are going through some separation anxiety!).

23 pounds and 1 ounce = 25th-50th%
32 inches = 75th%

He really slimmed out in the last couple of months due to a combination of his walking and weaning.
