New Hampshire 2012 - Day #2

We drove up the NH late yesterday afternoon.  We were happy to find Nana, Aunt Na, Uncle Jason, Becca, Ari, Uncle Jono, Uncle Josh, Aunt Sara, Zev and Orli already settled in to our vacation house.  We settled our boys in and began planning for the fun to begin!

We began the morning lazing around the house and then some fun in the pool.

Nana agreed to be in charge of Ezra and the four of us got to go to Storyland on our own.  It gave us a small glimpse of life on the other side of this babies.  We walked around without a stroller and felt free! We had so much fun!  We hit all our favorite rides so when we come back on Monday we can leisurely walk around with the group.

We all got very wet and had a lot of fun on the new ride - splash battle!

The Men with the Yellow Hat

Time for Partners

Ezra started his music and art class for the summer.  It is like a mini-pre-school.  He loved all the art and play dough - the music is fun too!

Camp Grossman

What an adventure Seth begins today...  today he starts Camp Grossman for the first time.  He is going to take a bus for the first time.  I was so nervous - and so was Seth.  He was very brave, Jerald reported.  He sat next to his friend Gabriel and had a great first day.  It is a very long day - the bus picks him up by 8:10 and drops him off at 4:45!  Hopefully, it will be a great summer.

Ezra Playgroup BBQ

We had a great time at Ezra's friends house, Henry.  He invited the whole playgroup... Ezra, Tenley, Jacob, Leila, himself and Luke - along with the parents and Ezra's two big brothers.  We had a yummy barbecue and lots of fun.  Thanks Henry!!!

Pool time with Becca & Ari

School is over and we have a couple of days before the big boys start camp.  We stayed in the house all day yesterday because of the extreme heat and Justin fighting off his cold.  Today we are back and ready for the pool!  Nana joined us - what fun!  Also - Aunt Na, Becca and Ari met us at the pool.  What fun it was to play with them in the pool.  We are getting very excited for our big New Hampshire vacation!

Last day of Kindergarten

As you can see from Seth's face above - he is very sad that his amazing year is ending.  He started as a little boy and now ending as a big boy!  He has gained so much confidence, charm, knowledge and compassion over the year.  He learned to be part of a class and made such amazing friends.  He learned hebrew, how to write, read and math. I am in shock that the year is over.  We now have a 1st grader!!!!

After picking him up - we went to a celebratory lunch at The Purple Cactus.  We had a wonderful time - what a special treat spending an afternoon with my Seth!

Last day of Kofim

Justin made it through his very first year of school!!!  He has come so far.....We were so worried at the beginning of the year - when he wouldn't leave my side.  We were convinced that he was going to be a mess of tears.  But he was ready.  He was so brave and separated easily.  He grew so much into his own this year.  He made friends, he learned and had fun.  Thank you to his wonderful teachers!  We had a great year!!!  Unfortunately, I brought Justin to school and realized he was sick.  We gave presents and then I took him home.  He had a fever for 2 days!!!  Not a great way to end the year - but it was a great year!

Salem

We were sitting at the breakfast table this morning trying to decide what to do with a whole free Saturday in front of us.  Jerald had an idea - a day trip to Salem.  Within the hour we were dressed and ready for our adventure.  We stayed away from the witch museums and headed straight to the Pirate Musuem.  Argh!!!!!  The boys all really liked it - and yes, the only one that screamed.

We walked around some more and made our way to some of the ships.  We couldn't get on but it was still fun to look.

The boys posed on a tank in a playground and then we went to the arcade where Ezi got to ride some rides his size.  We even saw Adam Sandler with his kids!
