Seth has been very into the train set that his Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa bought for him. It is this wonderful starter set - with a bunch of track and two trains. We realized we needed much more track. After spending some time on Ebay - we won 51 pieces of track. They arrived the other day - and as you can see from the pictures Jerald and Seth have already put it to very good use.Once Jerald had successfully taught Seth how to count to 10, he moved onto letters. Recently, I have been realizing how many he knows. He points to a letter, says the letter, then says a favorite word the letter starts with. Some good examples...

The video is a little long - but it gives an idea of how Seth and Ronak are finally playing together. We are not exactly sure what they are doing most of the time - but they are always laughing together and making us laugh in turn.
Seth had a very social day today. After his nap, his friend Noah and his Grandma Fran came over to play. Fran and Seth's Grandma first met each other when Noah's Dad, Mikey (yes you are still Mikey to me!) and I were in a New Mom's Group together when we were first born. It was really cute to see the two boys and their Grandma's playing together.
Stefanie and I met when we were in Nursery School - and today her son Jake (27 months) and Seth (21 months) had a playdate. My Mom just kept saying she couldn't believe we were all old enough for this!
It was really great having them over. Watching them tear apart the house and enjoying lunch together. Thanks for coming of Stef and Jake!!!
Seth and I drove down to Gra and Pa's house today. Pa even came home from work early to spend time with Seth. We all had a great day - but we don't have any pictures of Pa for some reason. 
We started a new class a couple of weeks ago called "Lightening Bugs." Today we played with the parachute and Seth loved the ball pit!
It was so cold today that we all decided to play around the house today. But not to worry - we found many things to amuse Seth and ourselves....
We had another great visit from Gra and Pa (as Seth calls his Grandma and Grandpa).
Jerald had the great idea to go to the Zoo which is 5 minutes from our house. We walked around a bit outside - but mostly stuck to the inside exhibits where we saw birds, snakes and gorillas. Everyone had a great time.
Then we all went to a yummy Japanese dinner. Seth loves Japanese food - he ate edamame, rice, miso soup and vegetable tempora!
We hosted today and Seth was so excited to help clean up with the Dustbuster. As soon as Seth's friends heard the noise they came running to watch.
Today, Seth and I were once again stuck at home so we decided to go out and explore. But first we needed to get suited up.
Seth was first unsure of this thing we call "snow." He surveyed the landscape and then started to tentatively explore.
He does not love the gloves - but I batted to keep them on his little hands.
Once we started stepping, touching and throwing the snow, Seth started to really enjoy himself.
Or maybe he was just happy to finally be out of the house!
Seth has been loving his new kitchen from Nana. It is so cute to see him at work. Thanks Nana!
Another trip to one of our favorite places in Boston, The Children's Museum! We met Ronak there and the kids had a blast.
Last night our neighbor and friend Ellah came over with her Mom to celebrate Chanukah. We lit the menorah, sang songs, and played with dreidels. It was a lot of fun.
Ronak came over last week for a playdate. I never got a chance to post this adorable picture.
First, Ronak sat in Seth's chair and then asked Seth to sit with him. How cute!
Last night it snowed in Boston. Not too bad - but enough for Seth and I to stay in for most of the day. Seth's word of the day was "snow." Every time he passed the window - he would point and say "snow!"
To get ready for the upcoming snow storm, we spent sometime outside raking the leaves. And Seth got to show off his new winter clothes.
