Justin - braces accident!

Justin has been such a trooper when it comes to his braces.  He didnt really complain once they went on - and hasn't complained in the 2 months since.  He is super careful and thoughtful about the foods he can and cannot eat.

At baseball practice tonight, he was practicing pitching.  A slow ball bounced off his glove weird and went into his face.  His lip curled under and got caught in his braces!  There was a little blood and tears.  I could not get the lip out!  Fortunately, the oncall doctor was still in the office a few minutes away.  We scooted over - and she was able to take the rubber band off and free the lip.  There is a little cut on his lip but nothing else.  Whew!
