Last Nana Tuesday
Ezra has had the most wonderful and special three years on Nana tuesdays. Every tuesday, Nana would pick up Ezra from school. Nana would take him to her house, they would eat lunch, sometimes bake, sometimes do puzzle magazines, read books and do puzzles. Every tuesday Ezra had the most fun and this was always the highlight of his day. With Ezra starting full day kindergarten in the fall, Nana tuesdays will come to an end - but the special times will continue!
More broadly, this is the end of Nana Tuesdays that started when Seth was only a couple of months old. We wanted to have a regular time for Nana to see baby Seth. In the beginning, Nana would come to our apartment in Cambridge after she was done working at the preschool. Nana and Seth would play games, go for walks and have fun! As the years went on, Nana Tuesdays moved to her house and I began to use this Nana day to teach at the law school. When Justin came along, Nana would spend the morning with Justin while Seth was at school. Mid-day we would switch the boys and I was able to take Justin to a class just for him. When Ezra came along we would switch everything again. Sometimes Nana would have two in the morning and 1 in the afternoon or a mix of everything. The one constant was the fun they all had on Nana days. While our official tuesday Nana day is coming to an end - but of course there will be more Nana days :-) I can never thank you enough for all of the hundreds of Nana days for me and the boys! We love you!!!
