More Chanukah

Our first week home from the hospital has flown by.  Chanukah has kept us very busy with lighting candles, singing songs and opening presents!  Grandma has been staying with us to keep us all fed, clean and happy.  Thank you so much Grandma - we love you more than we can ever say!!!

At the end of the week Pa came back and we were all so happy to have him back in Boston!

Today Uncle Joshy and Aunt Shir came to boston for tomorrow's bris.  We have been so excited for them to meet our little one, catch up and show them our new house.  What fun!

Coming Home from the Hospital

After two comfy cosy days in the hospital - it was time to brace ourselves for the cold Boston winter and head home.  Daddy, Nana, Grandma and Pa were all doing such a great job at keeping Seth and Justin happy and going to all their weekly classes.  I was really ready to have my boys all under one roof.
Here is our little one under this yellow blanket that Great-Grandma knit years ago.  I was brought home from the hospital in it as was Uncle Joshy, Seth and Justin!

The two big brothers were happy to have Mommy and the new baby home!

Meeting his family...

Over the next two days in the hospital the baby (we will announce his name next weekend at his bris) met some very important people.  First and foremost, he met his two big brothers.

He also met Nana and Great-Gram.

The next day he met Grandma and Pa.

What a very lucky and cute boy!

Baby Boy #3

Today is the day our third baby boy was born.  I went into labor at 2:20 am.  The contractions were pretty far apart - between 10 and 12 minutes, so I was able to fall back asleep between them.  This went on for a couple of hours until they started becoming more intense and I woke Jerald up.  We started timing them and slowly getting our things together.  At 5:30 we called Nana to have her come over to take care of Seth and Justin.  As I began to move around the house my contractions jumped from 7-8 minutes apart to 3-5 minutes apart.  Jerald yelled at me to sit down - we wanted to make sure we made it to the hospital.  Both boys woke up on their own and were excited to learn that the baby was coming soon.  Nana came and took the boys to her house and we went to the hospital.  Things happened pretty quickly from there.  We were in triage at 7:30, in the delivery room by 8am and I had the epidural (thankfully!) by 8:30.  By 11am I was ready to push and at 11:14 a.m. weighing only 6 pounds and 15 ounces at 20.5 inches our third beautiful baby boy was born.  We love him already and are looking forward to introducing him to the rest of his family!

Justin's Birthday Party - #2

We rounded out Justin's birthday celebrations with a party at our house on his birthday.  It was really special to have so many family members and some close friends come and celebrate our little man.  We made very good use of the new basement!!!

We were also lucky to have these amazingly beautiful and delicious cupcakes from our friend Sara.  Justin was so thrilled to have Mickey Mouse on his cupcakes!  Thank you Sara.

Happy 2nd Birthday Justin ~ we love you!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Justin!!!

We cannot believe our little Justin is two years old today - the time has flown by!  He is such a sweet, snuggly, energetic and loving boy.  He loves dancing, playing with balls, going to various classes, playing with his friends and family.  Above all, he loves his big brother Seth!  We have had such a blast watching and helping Justin grow and learn over the last two years - and we are looking forward to what is ahead.  We love you Justin!!!

Grandma's Surprise 60th Birthday Dinner

Surprise!!!  My Mom (aka Grandma to the boys) - is turning 60 in one week.  Due to the uncertainty of "no-name's" arrival and Justin's second birthday Grandma did not know how or when to celebrate her big birthday.  So she is having little celebrations here and there and hopefully a big one sometime soon!  In the meantime, Pa had the great idea of throwing her a little celebration dinner at our house.  We invited her brother Uncle Ken and his wife Aunt Lauren.  We were thrilled they could join us - it made the whole night so much more special!!!

Grandma - words cannot express what you mean to us.  You are the one who has taught us all what it means to be in this great family of which we are a part.  You are always there when any of us needs you.  You take care of us, make us laugh, support us and most of all love us.  We love you with all our hearts!  Happy 60th Birthday - and many more!!!
