Ezra's 3rd Grade at the State House

 

Ezra and his classmates did an amazing job this morning at the state house.  They sung so many songs about channukah.  I don't know how they remembered all of the words!  Ezra did amazing - he was confident and happy singing.  So great to see it!

I was looking for holiday cards and came across this Channukah card.  I opened it and it was from Grandpa - with money for the boys.  What a strange and lovely feeling to come across this.  I miss my Grandma and Grandpa every day - what special people.

Happy 9th Birthday Ezra!!!

Happy 9th Birthday Ezra!!!!  We love you so much!  One moment you can be the life of the party and the next moment you can be a focused serious student.  Your teachers described you as a "professional student."  You love your friends and your family and have fun spending time with them all!  You have spent the last year reading all the funny books you can get your hands on - but your love of Fake Mustache holds supreme!  Happy Birthday!!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Justin!!!!

Happy 11th Birthday to our Justin!  What a fantastic year you have had!  You are full of love, thoughtfulness, determination and creativity.  I love how when inspiration hits you - you need to get it out either in a drawing, a story or a game with your brothers.  You are always the first person to ask someone how their day was or how they are feeling.  You work hard at school, drawing and your new love of basketball.  We are so impressed by your heart and love you to pieces!

L'Shana Tova!  We had a great first seder at Aunt Na's - there was a trampoline and Missy came!  We hosted the second night and had a delicious lunch and Nora and Josh's the next day.  Counting our blessings every day.

I want to make sure the boys know their way around a kitchen when they are grown ups!  Seth made the noodle kugel on his own, and Ezra and Justin each helped with a different cake.  Fun and yummy!  Although, no one yet helps me with the dishes!

2019 Apple Picking

My fave fall activity with my family!  This year we had to try a new Orchard because of Missy - Smolak farms in Andover.  Yummy apples and even yummier ice cream (but a 30 min line!?!).  Great day!!!

Happy 13th Birthday Seth!!!

Happy 13th Birthday Seth!!!  What another great year you had.  As I look at the month by month pictures of you - it is clear how much you have physically grown but you also grew as a person.  You took on more responsibility with your brothers - now we will leave you babysitting at night!  You have taken more responsibility with your school work and have been so dedicated to your bar-mitzvah studies this year.  You still have your passions - superhero movies, theater, reading and games with your family.  You are also still the sweet and loving son, brother, and grandson you have always been.  I get a hug every morning :-) We wish you the happiest year ahead and cannot wait to celebrate next weekend at your Bar-Mitzah!
