Seth's Camp Performance - #1

The theme was the jungle - Seth was dressed as a Zebra.  It was cute and Seth was so happy that Justin and I were there for him.

Heading home

What an amazing wedding weekend!  We finished it off with a farewell brunch and some pool time.  We love you Uncle Joshy & Aunt Shir!!!

On the way to the airport - most of the boys fell asleep.  I ended up carrying a sleeping Justin through part of the airport.  I wanted to also take a minute to thank Nana for all of her amazing support, help and love.  You are a part of my family and the celebration would not have been complete without you!

Dancing at the wedding

Joshy & Shir's Wedding - the party!!!

Great-Pa and Shir's Grandpa got the party going with the prayers over the challah and the wine.  Josh and Shir were very impressive with their first dance.  The lessons paid off!

There was so much wonderful dancing, food, love and fun and the party.  The only moment I cried was this one below.  After the father-daughter and mother-son dances the two sets of parents with the bride and groom all got into one big hug to share the wonderful moment together.  It was so beautiful!

There was a lot of great dancing.  Seth and Justin barely sat down - they just wanted to keep on dancing.

As the night went on we were all tired from the fun.  We all managed to stay up until midnight!  It was a wonderful celebration of two people who love each other and who we love with all our heart!  I was so honored when they asked me to give a speech at the wedding.  I said it all there - but we all wish for them a long life together filled with health, happiness and love!

Joshy & Shir's Wedding - the ceremony

The ceremony was beautiful and very eclectic - like the happy couple.  Josh was led to the chuppah by a bag pipe and Shir walked down to a string duo.  The kids in the wedding were all beyond adorable.  Below are our boys, Shir's brother's daughter Ava and my cousin Rebecca.

I was worried having the boys walk down near the end - but they were just perfect.  They walked in slowly, holding hands and smiling all the way!

Here are my parents with the beaming groom...
I love this picture - Shir is doing the traditional seven circles around the groom and Josh has his finger up counting them.

And now they are officially married!!!  It was a beautiful ceremony - lets party!!!

Joshy & Shir's Wedding - Rehearsal BBQ

We are in florida!!!  I had been so worried about our flight, other transportation and all of our clothes that I hadn't even thought about what we would do when we got here.  The flight was pretty good.  The big boys watched Sponge Bob the whole time.  Ezra was pretty squirmy - but overall it was good.  We headed to the hotel in a limo (a first for the boys - I don't think they thought it was that cool though.  Josh and I always loved it because of the tv in it - but we have a dvd player in our minivan).  We found Grandma and Pa right away and then found Great-Grandma and Great-Pa.  It was so wonderful seeing them!  After a late lunch - and some swimming time we had to get ready for our rehearsal and then the bbq dinner.  The boys were amazing for all of this.  They even tolerated all the introductions to people they didn't know.
Joshy and Shir looked and seemed great.  They were so happy to have the festivities under way - with everyone there ready to celebrate.  It was great seeing family and friends and then listening to toasts and roasts at the dinner.  Jerald did a great job with a funny and touching poem.  Seth did an amazing job (with some coaching from Jerald) telling the story of how Shir became Aunt Shir last summer on the Cape when she saved him in the water.  We all went to sleep at 10:30 pm!  Hopefully we can get some naps in tomorrow to rest up for the big day.
